The General Administration of Services, represented by the Sub-Service Department, held a number of activities for new students who joined the second semester of the academic year 1440/1441.

The university’s transportation services for the first academic year ended successfully.
Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, Vice-Rector, said that over 7208 female students have availed themselves of the transportation services on daily basis.

The Department of Vehicle Technical Affairs at the Directorate of Services has ended the regular and urgent maintenance procedures for the university vehicles including mechanical and electrical checkup.

The daily transportation services offered to students by the Directorate of Services has ended successfully. The transportation service featured sending students from colleges to various activities and internship within the governorate or to main cities.

The Directorate of Services helped the Astronomical Observatory in transferring the equipment and staff to the Solar Eclipse Site in Al-Ahsa which will last for 5 days.

As part of its social responsibility towards the community, the university launched ‘Always with you’ initiative to educate elementary school students of the harmful effects caused by staring at the sun during the eclipse.

A Special team from the Support Services Unit at the Directorate of Services picked up scholarship students from airports based on their arrival time and sent them to the dormitory of scholarship students in Zulfi.

In line with the Awareness Program Campaign “Be Cautious”, the Directorate of Services is still carrying out the campaign in cooperation with students. The aim of the initiative is primarily to increase students and drivers’ awareness when they come to a stop and unloading students.
