In the annual awarding ceremony held under the patronage of MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren in the presence of vice-rectors, deans and directors of departments, the General Department of Services won several prizes in the categories of director of administration and annual report.

The Supervisor of the Department of Services, Mr. Moteb Al-Maymoni, received a letter of appreciation from the Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Majed Aba-Hussein, in recognition of its efforts in providing services to different departments.

The General Supervisor of the Department of Services, Mr. Moteb Al-Maymoni, conducted several meetings with branches’ managers and the working team at the Risk Management Platform to examine the preparations of routes during examination period.

A Training course was conducted by the Driving Simulation Center entitled ‘Best Practices for Risks Management on Road’. The course has three parts: theory, practices and important tips for managing risks on road which was presented by the Secondary Industrial Institute.

A high-profile delegation from Arab Weather Company paid a visit to the Severe Weather Unit at Majmaah University.

The General Department of Services has participated in the event conducted on the world civil defense day under the theme “Safety of our Children is our Main Goal”. A number of initiatives related to safety were presented such as draw and color publications for kids made by ‘Salik’.

The General Department of Services at female campus celebrated the women’s world day by a wide-range of activities inside the center.

The Driving Simulation Center ”Salik” resumed offering a number of training courses to female staff and students. Recently, a course entitled “Management of Road Health Problems” was scheduled to be held on Monday at the Center.

The Supervisor of the General Department of Services, Mr. Moteb Al-Maimoni, received letter of thanks from the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Abdelrahman Al-Attram, in recognition of its cooperation in transporting student and faculty members to different activities and training fields.

A first group of trainees have completed a training at the Driving Simulator Center “Salik”. The training included qualitative courses both theoretical and practical followed by taking a simulator test at the center and were handed accredited certificates.

The 2nd phase of educating elementary school students about road safety awareness was conducted by Salik Club with the theme ‘Our kids are our responsibility’.
