MU’S FIRST VIRTUAL COMMUNITY FORUM ORGANIZED BY DEANSHIP OF COMMUNITY SERVICE UNDER THE THEME “OUR RESPONSIBILITIES AMID CORONA PANDEMIC”

In line with the role played by the university to serve the community members during the current corona virus pandemic, the Deanship of Community Service and Continues Education (DCSCE) is organizing the first virtual forum under the theme “Our Responsibilities amid Corona Pandemic”. Targeting the community members, the forum aims to raise their awareness and help them to acquire social and health skills to deal with the corona pandemic related issues. The Dean of DCSCE and Supervisor of the Forum, Dr. Omar Al-Sharyofi, pointed out that the forum is held at the request of MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren, to emphasize the role of the university to serve the community during crisis. The 2-day forum addresses several scientific topics on how to deal positively with the current pandemic like personal safety and technical solutions. The Vice-Rector, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, will inaugurate the forum with a speech on Sunday, Ramadan 3rd at 9:30 pm, followed by the Community Service Dean’s talk. In a concluding remark, Dr. Al-Sharyofi, said that this initiative provided by MU reflects the extent to which the university is dedicated to the community care.
