Under the patronage of His Highness the Rector Dr. Khalid Bin Sa’ad Al-Mogren, Deanship of Quality and Skills Development held the 2nd annual symposium titled “Research Activity Survey Is a Crucial Step in Developing Quality”, presented by Dr. Tariq Al-Doysan. A speech was held on the occasion of this event, a ceremony where His Excellency the Vice Rector Dr. Ibraheem Bin Abdelrahman Al-Hugail delivered an opening speech where he welcomed Dr. Tariq Al-Doysan and all audiences. He also praised the efforts exerted by Deanship of Quality and Skills Development to disseminate quality education in the university. After that, a speech was delivered by His Excellency Dean of Quality and Skills Development Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammad Al-Jarallah where he extended his thanks to His Highness the Rector for his constant support as well as the Vice Rector and Dr. Tariq Al Doysan and audiences. He also asserted that the essential goal of the Deanship of Quality and Skills Development is enhancing quality and disseminating quality education in the university. Then, Dr. Tariq Al-Doysan run a course titled “Research Activity Survey Is a Crucial Step in Developing Quality”, where he mentioned about the importance of incentives in supporting research activity. He also talked about the way of implementing the concept of quality in newly established university, and he draw a comparison between the concept of quality and distinction, adding that distinction should always be in pursuit. He also stated that development is continues process that is endless and he finally mentioned about the role of ISO 9001 in quality and distinction
