Business College to Hold Reception for Fresh Students in Zulfi

The College of Business Administration held a reception for the new students of different departments in Zulfi governorate. The reception was headed by the College Dean Dr. Abdullah Al-Jebrin in the presence of the College Deputy of Academic Affairs Mr. Farris Saleh Al-Farris and the supervisor of the College Sections in Zulfi Mr. Bandar Fahad Al-Harbi and Department Heads of the College. The reception started with recitations from the Holy Quran, then an introductory speech by the College Deputy of Academic Affairs. He first welcomed fresh students and gave a short introduction about the college, the academic system and the importance of student attendance and punctuality from the beginning of the semester. He also stated that students should check with their academic counselors if faced with problems or difficulties in college. The importance of the academic systems and follow-up procedures were also highlighted in the deputy address. Later, the College Deputy of Quality and Development, and supervisor of the College Sections in Zulfi gave a short presentation about the differences between Education and Higher Education particularly focusing on the academic systems, organizational structures and academic life. Abdurrahman Al-Shamari, a college graduate student, then delivered a student speech. He talked about his academic life, and the positive financial support he had found in the college. Furthermore, Heads of Departments introduced the departments, answers to students’ potential inquiries and student future expectations. The College Public Relations Unit headed by Mr. Abdul Majeed Al-Jaber, and in collaboration with the Director of Registration, Hamad Fahad Al-Ebid, distributed gift bags, brochures, booklets and student guides to students in order to further enhance their knowledge of the academic systems and College regulations
