The college’s Office of vice Dean for Educational Affairs –Unit of Academic Counseling – conducted a training course on Tuesday, 07/07/1435 H - 05/06/2014 AD, titled (Methods and Skills of Effective Studying). The event took place in the Deanship of Quality Assurance and Skills Development hall at the university main campus, where it was held at 1:00pm and lasted for an hour and a half. Presented by the director of the university Students Guidance and Counseling Center Dr. Abdul Hamid Haj Amin, he tackled the following aspects: first, the ten skills for attending lectures. In this topic he touched on the important matters a student must take into consideration when attending lectures during the semester, which will enable him to gain the scientific course content efficiently. Second, the ten skills for course studying in which the lecturer spoke about the important skills for studying during the exams, those in which will enable the student to achieve an effective comprehending of the course contents. Finally, the five skills to deal with the test paper, where the lecturer in this part touched on the skills needed to set for the tests and getting high marks
