The College of Business Administration Delivers an Awareness Lecture Entitled “People with Special Needs: Characteristics and Causes

Due to the Business Administration College’s interest in the student sensitizing illuminating activities to subjects related to them and to their community, and with the guidance of the college’s Dean, Dr. Muhammad Bin Abdullah Al-Jabrin, and the supervision of the college’s Deputy of Educational Affairs, Pr. Fares Al-Fares, the Business Administration College set a lecture entitled “People with Special Needs: Characteristics and Causes” in the college’s building. Supervised by the Guidance and Counseling Student Center, the lecture was delivered by Dr. Safwan Rachid Muhammad Bani Said and included displaying the most important categories of disability among students, their causes, the proportion of their propagation, and their characteristics; in addition to students’ identification of the difficulty of learning, its causes and identification, and the global characteristics of people having learning difficulty. Moreover, the lecture included the concept and definition of behavior disorders including Autism disorders and the most important recommendations for its treatment, in addition to models of learning and teaching for gifted and talented students. In conclusion, everybody thanked the college’s administration for its devoted efforts through the students’ interaction, questions, participation and their big interest in learning more about these cases and how to treat them
