under the guidance of the  Dean of the College of Business Administration, Dr. Faisal bin Abdullah Al-Hamoud and the head of the Department of Law Dr. Khalid bin Abdullah Shafi, through the presence of both Dr. Najib bin Omar Owainat and Dr. Mohammed bin SaadFoda,  Law Department participatedin the sixth session of the scientific workshop in the field of international humanitarian law in Riyadhcity at the headquarters of the Arab Organization of the Red Crescent and the International Red Cross The workshop was held in the period from 6-8/5/1434 AH.Under the patronage of Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, President of the Saudi Red Crescent Society Chairman of the Standing Committee for International Humanitarian Law, the Arab Organization for Red Crescent and Red Cross organized this workshop .the organization "Comes as the keenness of the Arab Organization for Red Crescent and the Red Cross to promote international humanitarian law and the interaction with the events in the Arab region.The event addressed a number of important issues such as field application the hazard of humanitarian workand its application and the protection of its international articles that was mentioned in Geneva agreement. During workshop,the international humanitarian law in the Arab area was discussed in the light of the ongoing war in the area and this doesn't only influence the international humanitarian law but also the humanitarian work. The workshop was attended by government and non-government sectors locally and internationally and a group of specialized experts in international humanitarian law and humanitarian work as well as participants from the Arab countries. The college participants, Dr. NajeebAwainat and Dr. Mohammed Foda enriched the discussion with their valuable comments which was admired by the audience. Participation in the academic debates and workshop contribute positively in developing the faculty members' skills and the reputation of the college as well as the university.
