College of Business Administration Receives Deanship of Electronic and Distance Learning Team

The college of Business Administration received a team from the Deanship of Electronic and Distance Learning headed by the Vice Dean Dr. Khalid Almudibri. The team was met by the Dean Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jibreen as well as the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, the Vice Dean for Development and Quality and the Supervisor of the E-learning Unit at the college and its coordinators. The team presented its academic experience in the field of e-learning, stemming from the idea of creating an interactive environment between faculty members through the establishment of a virtual course to activate the D2L system. The activation course includes all faculty members of the college divided into groups according to their departments where the instructor of the course assigns tasks and activities to ensure faculty's activation of the system tools. The listed teaching staff have to respond with a document specifying the activities that have been done to be assessed at the end of the academic year.The Dean praised the visit and the extent to which the team's experience was beneficial to the college. In fact, he expressed the need to work on the optimal implementation and following-up of the e-learning activation plan and to provide all needed support as well as establishing workshops and training courses, to implement it in all college courses to keep up with the continuous development in this area and to ensure the fulfillment of the standards of quality assurance and academic accreditation.
