The Scientific Research Unit in cooperation with the Department of English Language held a lecture entitled “A Guide of publishing in International Database”.
Goals of the lecture:
- Mention the important academic database
- Introduce the way of using indexed database such as Scopus
- How to search in database and analyze indexed journal results
- How search a suitable journal for your paper
- A hands-on training of database
- Explain some of the important options that help a researcher to select the best indexed journal
- Showcase how the journal indexing identifier website.
- A hands-on training of how to search for indexed journals
- Provide important links to publish indexed journals
Content of the lecture:
- The lecture introduced important database such as Scopus and how to search in them. It also featured the best strategies to select suitable journals from database. The presenter also explained some of the important options that help a researcher to select the best indexed journal to publish his paper. An overview was also given about journal indexing identifier website followed by a hands-on training for the best mobile apps of Scopus as well as important links for publishing research.
