How to Authenticate Hadith The Unit of Excellence in Teaching and Learning and the Unit of Training run a workshop entitled “How to Authenticate Hadith" in cooperation with The Female Department of Islamic Studies in The Zilfi College of Education. The workshop was presented by the assistant professors in the Department of Islamic Studies Dr. Mashae'r Abdulraheem and Dr. Halah Fadhil-Allah Alamin in the Training Hall on Sunday, 22\11\2015. The workshop was oriented to include all the faculty, administrative officers and students for the purposes of: 1. Introducing the definition of Authentication. 2. Introducing the importance and benefits of authentication. 3. Developing the skill of authenticating Hadith efficiently. 4. Using computer in Hadith authentication, that is how to have access to the Comprehensive Library, choose the authenticating books, write an excerpt of Hadith, search and obtain results. Moreover, the workshop discussed the era of establishing Hadith sciences, the acknowledgment of primary and secondary sources, the ascription of Hadith to these sources and the necessity of verification in Prophet's Hadith (peace be upon him).
