Preparing a Course Report

Targeted Category: Faculty of English Department. Aims of Activity. Exemplifying standard four of quality and academic accreditation, which is "Learning and Teaching". The ability to write a sound report that respect quality standards is one of the main duties for a faculty which comes after course completion and result delivery. Training Program. The report should include the following points: - the subjects taught in class as well as the suggested and actual hours allocated for every topic- the learning outcomes that may be affected by the inability to cover one of the topics and the actions to be taken in such a case- assessment of learning outcomes - methods of assessment and the analysis of assessment results and the actions to be taken to improve the teaching strategies - teaching strategies as set by course specifications and their effectiveness as well as the difficulties the faculty face when applying them - the result statistics and grade distribution - analysis of grade distribution - student course assessment - action plan to improve results in future terms upon assessment of colleagues, students, independent advisory boards, previous reports, etc…
