Quality Units Activation in Zilfi College of Education

The dean of the Zilfi College of Education Dr. Rashed Homoud AL Thanyan had a meeting with the quality center staff, of both male and female campuses, in his office on Thursday 26/11/1436. Dr. Abdulhakeem Radian presented the structure of the quality units in the college clarifying the designations of every unit. The Dean stressed the importance of applying the criteria of quality and academic accreditation to all programs, vice deanships and units that make part of the organizational structure of the college. Dr. AL Thanyan pointed also that it is crucial for the college to sense quality reflected in the character of the staff be they clerks, teachers or administrative employees. In line with that, the dean mentioned that it is essential to prepare an annual plan to meet the quality requirements of the academic programs. The plan should be prepared according to the dates set by the Deanship of Quality and Skills Development. This step will be helpful on two levels. First, it will notify in advance the departments of fulfilment dates and second make it easy to complete the task on time. Moreover, this plan will strengthen cooperation and mutual benefits between quality units and the faculty programs. In the end, the dean stressed the necessity of finalizing the self-study report for the programs participating in international accreditation.
