TEBIAN Holds Educational Course on HAjj
Majmaah branch of the Saudi Religious Society for Quran and its studies (TBEIAN) held an educational Quranic training course entitled “Pilgrimage; an Educational School”, in cooperation with both the Student Activities Unit and the Department of Public Relations at the College of Education in Zulfi. The course was a ‘Quranic view’ introduced by the Assistant Professor of Quranic Interpretation and Studies at the Department of Islamic Studies, Dr. Fatih Hosni Abdul Karim. This session came as part of the regular educational activities hosted by the Office of the Student Activities at the university. Dr. Abdul-Karim talked about the religious and educational dimensions of each of the rituals of Hajj from the qur’anic perspective. He also mentioned that the Quran has established highly educational landmarks and created religious rites which enhance these features in the human psyche, making it pure as Allah said in the Holy Quran: “It is He who has sent among the unlettered a Messenger from them reciting His verses, purifying and teaching them the Book and wisdom as they were in clear perversity”.
