Welcoming Contractual Faculty. -Work Values and Potentials of college academic and administrative excellence

The Zilfi College of education held a meeting entitled Work Values and Potentials of college academic and administrative excellence. The training was conducted by the college vice dean for academic affairs Dr. Thafer AL Garni on Tuesday 13/11/1437 in the college theater (male section) and on Wednesday 14/11/1437 for the female section. Objectives: 1. to welcome contractual faculty members resuming duty after holidays. 2. College work policies. 3. causes of college academic and administrative excellence. Content: on the occasion of the resumption of duty by contractual faculty members, the college vice dean for academic affairs Dr. Thafer AL Garni representing the college dean Dr. Rashed bin Hmoud AL Thanyan welcomed expatriate faculty members in an open meeting in the college theater of both male and female departments. The vice dean first welcomed faculty members and spoke about the problems they face especially housing. He then shed light on the work policy of the college insisting on perfection and quality performance at academic and administrative levels. Dr. AL Garni equally stressed the need to care for students who are the focus of the educational process and pointed in the same vein to the necessity for faculty members to attend seminars and training which help them to boost their skills and competence which will in turn positively impact the college. In this regard the vice dean decided to organize a number of training sessions to be held before classes start.
