The College of Sharia and Law held a reception for new students in the presence of the Vice-Rector for Development and Investment, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, the Dean of the College, Dr. Omar Al-Omar, the Vice-Deans, the heads of departments, and the faculty members.
The Dean of the College launched the ceremony with a welcoming speech and wished the students success in their future study.
The Vice-Rector delivered a speech featuring several messages to the new students, explaining the university life. He motivated the students to work hard at the beginning of the study and to assume their rights and duties.
The Vice Dean for Educational Affairs and Development, Dr. Yasser Al-Shubrami, explained the close connection between the student and the academic advisor to solve their problems and answer their inquiries. He also provided a brief explanation of the regulations for students.
The Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Ahmed Al-Shamrani, talked about the Vice-Dean's Office and the opportunities it provides for scientific and skill development and training courses for students in the research field.
