As part of its role to serve the community, MU represented by the Community Service and Continuous Education Dean’s Office patronized a program for early detection of breast cancer entitled “Get yourself diagnosed”. The program was held by the Social Development Committee in collaboration with the Saudi Cancer Society and Abdullatif for Early Detection.
The Dean’s Office of Community Service participated in the opening activities with its mobile exhibition to raise the awareness of people with this disease and how to deal with it.
The 4-day program includes a series of activities to raise the public awareness along with the early detection center at which over 160 persons were checked up.
The Social Development Committee in Artawayyah honored the Community Service and Continuous Education Dean’s Office for its commendable efforts to run this program which aims to serve the community in line with the Vision 2030.
