An Initiative held to Train Martyrs’ Children

As part of the efforts exerted by community institutions to provide care to the children of martyrs, the Committee assigned to supervise the community service units at colleges launched in cooperation with the Department of Education in Majmaah an initiative to offer a range of training programs for the children of martyrs. The training will qualify them to obtain a certificate in IT skills, pass Qiyas and English language test and to compete in job market.
The committee recommended that a coordinating team should be formed to implement this initiative which is expected to expand in future to serve all governorates located within the geographical area of the university.
The Dean of Community Service, Dr. Omar Al-Sharyofi said that this initiative confirms the stance of the university with regard to the citizens who are defending this country. The initiative was held at the request of MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren to consolidate the role of the university in serving the community.
