Within the framework of the Deanship of Community Service and Distance Education’s interest to improve the quality of services provided to all sectors, the Quality Unit held a coordinating meeting, chaired by the dean, Dr. Omar Al-Sharyofi, to follow quality works.
Held in the presence of the vice-dean for educational affairs, Dr. Abdelkareem Al-Harbi, the vice-dean for community programs, Dr. Adel Al-Turki, the vice-dean at female campus, Dr. Maha Al-Khaltham and quality team members, the meeting began by a welcoming and motivational talk given by the dean.
The supervisor of quality unit, Dr. Ayed Al-Anazi, delivered a brief presentation about the feedback of the Deanship of Quality and Skills Development for the academic year 1438/1439 AH.
Some prominent issues related to quality were also addressed in the meeting like the deanship’s performance indicators, results of surveys for beneficiaries of the deanship’s activities and services, the suggested plan of improvement and means of implementing them.
This meeting was held as part of the deanship preparation for the internal audit team’s visit.
At the end of the meeting the dean, Dr. Al-Sharyofi extended his thanks to everyone for their commendable efforts, pointing out that the deanship is deemed the entity responsible of bridging the gap between the university, on one hand, and the community institutions, on the other hand.
