Quality General Committee chaired by Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs

The Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih chaired the meeting of the General Committee of Quality at the conference hall in the presence of representatives from the college of medicine and college of dentistry. The meeting, which aims to discuss improvement plans and the results of both audit and performance indicators, was inaugurated by a word from the Vice-Rector, Dr. Al-Rumaih pointed out the concern of MU Rector with this meeting, reminding all colleges to follow-up the aspects of quality and improvement in their colleges and the importance of involving faculty, staff and students in all activities of quality and making it an everyday activity.
Dr. Al-Rumaih commended the efforts exerted by the Deanship of Quality and Skills Development.
The Dean of Quality, Dr. Mohammed Al-Aboudi reviewed the development plan of academic programs for the two colleges as well as the aspects that require further improvements.
An open discussion was then held for vice-deans of quality at colleges to discuss the topics listed on the agenda, most prominently the requirements of program-based accreditation and improvement plans.
