As per directives of his highness the University Rector, and seeking to excel in all activities the Deanship of Students Affairs offers to university female and male students, his excellency the Dean of students affairs Dr. Hamad Abdullah Alghemeizi made a visit to the sporting hall, that is supervised by Deanship of Student Affairs and it is located in Society College in Almajma’ahm, to learn about the workflow and the varied sporting activities provided to the university students. In fact, Mr. Abdulaziz Albraheem, the superintendent of the sporting hall, presented to his excellency the Dean of student affairs the electronic program that is linked to the university portal through which the users of this hall register on a daily basis. The Dean’s name was registered in the program and was given the number (263). Mr. Albraheem clarified that the users of the sporting hall exceeds (250) students daily. Then, his excellency the Dean of student affairs DR. Alghemeizi made a tour to check the sporting devices that students use in the body-building hall. Also, he met with the students who were exercising in the hall and spoke to them. In response: the student Omar Alshalhoub from Faculty of Engineering said: the sporting hall is a convenient place for him to spend some free time and practice his hobbies; the student Mosa’ab Alghalbi said he enjoys his time in the hall and it needs some more devices to be installed, he added. Afterwards, his Excellency the Dean made a visit to Swedish exercises and varied sporting games hall and observed the students while exercising and playing some games, and he met with some students and spoke to them. In response: the student Basel Alfareeh from Faculty of Preparatory Year said that the number of students has increased after expanding the hall recently while the student Abdullah Alhindawi from Faculty of Computer Sciences said that they desire to have an additional hall due to the fact that the number of students is significantly increasing on a daily basis. After hearing the students’ suggestions and opinionns, his Excellency the Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Hamad Abdullah Alghemeizi explained that the directives of his highness the University Rector Dr. Khaled Sa’ad Almuqrin always stress to provide all the potential possibilities in the way of university students comfort. His excellency also explained to the students that all their suggestions will be addressed and met, and he urged them to stick to islamic values and ethics in dealing with each other in order to be a great example for others and to draw an honorable picture for the university.
