The Nutrition Department is responsible for the overall supervision of student nutrition services, including what is offered in university restaurants, cafeterias, and vending machines. The department also oversees the food services provided during university events and student activities. The department strives to ensure that nutrition services meet high standards of quality, health, and optimal dietary guidelines.
Responsibilities:

Follow up and implement administrative procedures related to the department and its units.

Supervise the provision of nutrition services to students.

Ensure the provision of high-quality meals that meet health standards.

Improve and develop the food services provided to students.

Monitor the implementation of agreed-upon nutrition conditions, identify violations, and report them to the Vice Dean for Student Affairs.

Prepare regular reports (daily, weekly, and monthly) on the performance of operators and the quality of the food provided.

Submit monthly and annual reports to the Vice Dean for Student Affairs that include a summary of the department's activities.

Follow up on student complaints regarding food services and work to find appropriate solutions.

Enhance the student experience by utilizing their suggestions to improve food service quality.

Supervise the necessary steps for implementing the catering contract.

Coordinate with relevant parties regarding the department's operations to ensure the effective delivery of services.

Carry out tasks assigned by the authorized person.
