The International Student Affairs Department

It is a department associated with the Vice Dean for Student Services and aims to provide comprehensive services to international students once they are accepted and until they graduate.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic and operational plans for the department in alignment with the university's goals.

  • Oversee the preparation of semester and annual-based activity plans and programs in coordination with various departments.

  • Review and approve the work plans and programs submitted by the departments before presenting them to senior management.

  • Supervise the performance of different departments (care and guidance, programs and activities, support services).

  • Lead the teams within the department to ensure tasks are executed efficiently and with high quality.

  • Monitor the implementation of tasks assigned to the units and ensure the achievement of specified objectives.

  • Coordinate with other academic and administrative entities to facilitate the provision of services to international students.

  • Track the performance of the units through periodic reports submitted by unit heads.

  • Evaluate the quality of services provided to students and take necessary measures to improve performance.

  • Ensure departments adhere to the approved quality standards in delivering services.

  • Approve financial requests submitted by departments (such as financial aids and other support programs).

  • Write comprehensive reports on the department's performance and submit them to senior management at the university.

  • Provide recommendations and suggestions for improving policies and procedures related to international student services.

  • Execute tasks assigned by the authorized person in accordance with the department's competencies.
