FINANCIAL AWARENESS PROGRAM HELD BY DEANSHIP OF STUDENT AFFAIRS

The Deanship of Student Affairs conducted a course entitled “financial awareness and saving” in cooperation with the Social Development Bank (SDB).
This program is one of many other ones primarily aimed to train students on how to manage their budget.
Nearly 100 students attended the course which was presented by Mohammed Al-Farraj at the auditorium of main campus in Zulfi college complex.
The underlying purpose of the course is to increase students’ awareness about the values of money in Islam, to train students on how to make their personal budget, to suggest them ideas for saving investment and to warn them of borrowing and spending.
Dr. Al-Ofaysan, Dean of Student Affairs, extended his thanks to the SDB for sponsoring this initiative which will help students to be more independent financially. Further cooperation will be made with the SDB to hold more courses in the upcoming period.
