The Dean of Student Affairs launches the debate league with the participation of 12 student clubs

The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Bader Al-Sulami, launched the First Student Debate League with the participation of 12 student clubs and 48 male and female students from various colleges across the university.

The league is being held from April 15 to 17, 2025, over the course of three days. The debates revolve around the theme: “The Reality of Student Clubs and Their Role in Skill Development and Impact Creation”و aiming to highlight the importance of extracurricular student activities and to promote the role of clubs in shaping the university student’s personality.

This initiative is part of the Deanship of Student Affairs' programs to develop students' dialogue and critical thinking skills and to create a competitive environment that contributes to building a conscious and influential university student personality.

Mohammed Al-Hussain, Head of Student Clubs, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Dean of Student Affairs for his ongoing support of student clubs. He commended the league's role in promoting a culture of constructive dialogue and enhancing students’ oratory skills.

Al-Hussain also praised the efforts of the Executive Presidency Team of Student Clubs for their overall supervision of the league, and acknowledged the Toastmasters Student Club for their logistical and on-ground organization.
