Majmaah University’s Sustainability Club organized an in-person workshop titled “Recycling—A Sustainable Art” at the College of Applied Medical Sciences. The workshop aimed to raise awareness about the importance of recycling, promote environmental consciousness, and spread a culture of sustainability by using recycled materials to create eco-friendly art.
The session supported the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production. Participants were introduced to key recycling concepts and engaged in hands-on activities to craft innovative artworks using repurposed materials. The interaction helped reinforce sustainable practices among attendees, many of whom were passionate about both art and environmental preservation.
