The Sustainable Development Club at Majmaah University held an in-person workshop titled “Empowering University Students to Achieve Equality” to raise students’ awareness of their important role in promoting justice and equality within the university and the wider community.
Many attended the workshop which featured a detailed explanation of the concept of equality from the sustainable development perspective, including local and global examples showing both challenges and opportunities. The workshop also included open discussions among students, helping broaden their understanding and highlighting their role in achieving Goal 10 of the Sustainable Development Goals (Reducing Inequality).
This workshop is part of the Deanship of Student Affairs' efforts to support awareness initiatives and empower students to contribute to building a fair and inclusive university environment that reflects the core values of Saudi Vision 2030.
