MU promotes the Arabic Language by administering the “Hamzah” Test for Non-Native Speakers

Posted in 2025-10-14

The Deanship of Student Affairs has administered the Arabic Proficiency Test for Non-Native Speakers “Hamzah”, in collaboration with the King Salman Global Academy for the Arabic Language, with the participation of the Applied College and the Deanship of Information Technology and E-Learning.

The “Hamzah” test is designed to measure the Arabic language proficiency of international students across the four core skills: listening, reading, writing, and speaking. Conducted through a computer-based standardized assessment, the test provides detailed performance reports that help students identify their language strengths and areas for improvement.

This initiative reflects the university’s ongoing efforts to promote the Arabic language locally and globally, and to empower non-native learners within an integrated academic environment. It also aligns with the objectives of the King Salman Global Academy for the Arabic Language and contributes to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in advancing the global presence of the Arabic language.
