In a ceremony held by Zahara Association to award all participants and supporters of early breast cancer detection campaign for this year on the theme ‘Never ignore any sign’, Majmaah University was credited for its active role to support this campaign. Mr. Faisal Al-Otaibi, Head of Public Relation Unit, explained that the words of the logo were not random, but a purposeful message aimed for all women to raise their awareness with breast cancer which is considered to be the second most cancer among women. One of every 8 women has the potential to have a breast cancer. With this in mind, MU has strived to organize such campaigns to educate women about this disease and the best prevention practices. Mr. Al-Otaibi extended his thanks to Zahar Association for its primary role to serve this nation. Special thanks were given to vice-rector, Dr. jawaher Al-Omar for launching the exhibition and PR team for their efforts of organizing the event.
