The forum of Gulf Universities and Social Responsibilities was launched on 10/2/1437 with the presence of very prominent figures, most notably are the governor of Majmaah Prince Abdulrahman A. Bin Faisal, the minister of social affairs, Dr. Majed A. Al-Qusaibi. The forum, which lasted for 3 days, included several scientific sessions and workshops presented by experts in the field.
The crucial purpose of the forum is to define the concept of social responsibilities in universities, identify the role of universities in achieving the social responsibilities, highlight the obstacles that may encounter this achievement and propose solution to these obstacles.
