Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs: There should be constant follow up on study plans development

The Department of Educational Programs and Development at the Vice-Rector’s Office held a second workshop entitled "Developing Academic Programs: Reflections of Modern academic Trends, National and Global Developments on the Development of Plans and Study Programs", on Tuesday, 21 Safar 1440 AH. The workshop focused on: • Curriculum development • Standards of program development • The role of the Planning Unit in the development of programs Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Dr. Ahmad Rumaih explained that the workshop aimed to communicate effectively and directly with its departments and units in various colleges to increase the efficiency of work performance and raising quality standards. Dr. Al-Rumaih stressed the importance of follow-up with the competent departments regarding study plans to learn more about the actual needs for development in accordance with national and international standards. During the workshop, the supervisor of the Department of Academic Programs and development talked about the Vice Rector’s vision in terms of improving the efficiency of the targeted units and their contribution to achieving the University goals.
