A workshop entitled "Empowering Women within the Framework of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals – Balancing Roles for Sustainable Growth"

On the occasion of International Women's Day, the Social Responsibility Observatory, represented by the Family and Childhood Services Center, organized a workshop titled “Empowering Women within the Framework of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals – Balancing Roles for Sustainable Growth.” 

The workshop was moderated by Dr. Abeer Al-Otaibi, Associate Professor of Applied Linguistics and Expert in the Applications of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, and was presented by Prof. Elham Hasanein, Professor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

The workshop addressed several key topics, including achieving a balance between the different roles of women to support economic growth and increase productivity. It also highlighted the role of women in building cohesive families and balanced societies to achieve social justice. Finally, the workshop covered ways to encourage women to adopt sustainable practices in all aspects of life to preserve resources and protect the environment.
