5- Following up the program performance

This step is deemed very essential for the recruiting program “Istiqtab” as it is concerned about following up the procedures of linking-up the students with the university and finalizing the administrative and academic procedures which begin by the approval of the respected department, college and committees and ends by creating conducive environment for them. Some students are required to complete their universities requirements which would take longer time.

4- Preparing the required administrative procedures and forms

To achieve the desired results of this program, all forms of recruiting this group should be prepared and printed. Moreover, all administrative and legal procedures are done. A number of academic positions are kept vacant for this group. Additionally, all cultural attachés were contacted in those countries to obtain the date of graduation or any further information that may contribute and accelerate the process of recruiting. Besides, an action team was formed to conduct the interviews those students and negotiate with them as well as issuing all required visas and flight tickets.

3- Selecting countries and forming special action teams

Based on a careful examination for King Abdullah Scholarship Program, a number of the nominated countries for recruiting are selected based on a number of criteria:• The quality of educational system in these countries • The density of students at these countries• The availability of scientific majors required by the university Based on the abovementioned criteria, the following countries were selected for the recruitment program:United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, France, Germany 

2- Discussing the incentives to recruit the target group

The target group of this program is outstanding students at universities in a number of countries; therefore, there is a dire need to create a number of incentives that will encourage this group to join a newly-established university and under the intense competition with other universities.To this end, a workshop for deans of colleges and leaders of the university was held and chaired by His Excellency the Rector.The workshop is concerned about the discussion of the incentives the university could provide to be able to recruit this group at Majmaah University.

E-learning is a major tributary for academic education and continuing education, the need for this type of learning has increased with the increasing numbers of students willing to join university education which are beyond universities carrying capacity.  This type of learning is rapidly developing and modern technologies are constantly renewed to keep pace with this development through e-learning systems, e-content and e-learning objects.

1. Identifying the required fields for the university

the university deputyship for postgraduate studies and academic research has set a form for identifying all the scientific fields required for colleges in compliance with the university’s resolution of science and humanities fields and the statement submitted by deans of colleges for their need.

A well-designed plan was created for all the required fields in the upcoming five years.
