The Dean in the College of Business Administration, Dr. Faisal bin Abdullah Al-Hamoud received new students for the second semester of the academic year 1433 - 1434 AH in the presence of the Dean agent for Development affairs Mr. Mohammed bin Hamad Wuhaib and head of the student activity unit Dr. Moataz Abdullah and head of the Academic Advising Dr.Najib Owainat and the supervisor of the unit of student Affairs Dr. Ali Gomaa.
Where the Dean began his speech by giving students some guidelines and tips on a range of topics, including how to manage student time and he encouraged them to develop a program to study the curriculum, and encouraged them to take advantage of the resources and facilities provided by the university and he identified and stated the academic system for them and he encouraged them to abide by attending lectures and to commit to the designed plan of study and to take advantage of the academic advising services and he urged them to hone their skills through student activities and after that the dialogue was opened with students and all their questions were answered.
And then the speech of Dr. Moataz Abdullah began who welcomed the honorable attendees and he emphasized that this event is an annual tradition accustomed by Majmaah University with its various faculties to organize it for receiving new students, indicating the role of the university in the educational process to produce trained graduates in line with the labor market and reduce the gap between colleges graduates and the need for the labor market, and he explained the role of the university under the auspices of talent through the establishment of artistic and cultural and sporting student activities that are organized throughout the year and it gives the student a real chance to compete and improve his talent.
As Dr. Ali Gomaa, has talked about all the general things concerning student affairs, including models offered by the unit of Student Affairs and he focused on how to register in the college, and Dr. Najib Owainat has talked about academic advising in college and he has identified students with the names of academicians mentors in college and he has talked also about Disciplinary Committee and the deprivation system of students and he encouraged students to attend lectures and commit to exams in its time and to be distinguished students and to achieve the high grades.
Special publications concerning the college were distributed on the new students and then pancakes were eaten and the President of the Student Activities Unit in turn made a tour for the students in the college to show them the halls and different departments in the college.
