MU LAUNCHES INITIATIVE TRAINING FAMILIES IN REMOTE VILLAGES ON USING ‘MY SCHOOL PLATFORM’

As part of its social responsibility and in partnership with the Women Committee for Social Development in Riyadh and the Department of Education in Majmaah, MU – represented by the Deanship of Community Service and Continuous Education and the Social Responsibility Observatory – launched an initiative to train elementary students and their family members on using ‘My School’ Platform.

The vice-dean and chairman of Social Responsibility Observatory Board, Prof. Musallam al-Dosari, pointed out that this initiative is came at the request of MU rector who stressed the necessity to be opened up to the community and provide support to all community segments amid this pandemic.

Explaining the basic idea of the initiative, Prof. al-Dosari said that the e-learning mobile bus will travel to students who live in remote villages with the purpose of training them and their guardians on using ‘My School’ Platform.

The vice-rector concluded his remarks by thanking Emirate of Riyadh Province, particularly the Women Committee for Social Development, for its cooperation to serve the community at best.

Special thanks were extended to MU rector for his support to such initiatives that contribute in serving the community, commending the efforts exerted by all parties that made this initiative possible.
