The Social Responsibility Observatory holds a workshop entitled (The needs of the elderly and their psychological, health and social stability)

The Social Responsibility Observatory, represented by the Special Needs Services Center, held a workshop entitled (The needs of the elderly and their psychological, health and social stability). The workshop was presented by Mr. Khalid Al-Subaie, a lecturer in the Department of Special Education at the College of Education, who talked about four important topics: the concept of the elderly, symptoms of old age, psychological and physical health and its importance to the elderly and the challenges they face, the importance of the elderly as a pillar of history and experience, protecting and enhancing the rights of the elderly in Islam and the state’s interest in this regard. 

This workshop comes within the framework of activating the university’s strategy towards people with special needs via qualitative activities and programs.
