The Social Responsibility Observatory, represented by the Family and Childhood Center, held a workshop entitled “The Green Child: Towards a Sustainable Environmental Upbringing for a Better Future,” to raise awareness of the role of the child in family and community development. 

The workshop was presented by Dr. Asma Al-Qutaim, Associate Professor of Curricula and Science Education, and was moderated by Ms. Duaa Al-Hazmi, Supervisor of the Family and Childhood Center. 

The workshop addressed several topics including the concept of the green child in light of the global interest in environmental sustainability and ecological systems. The workshop also highlighted the role of schools and societies in promoting responsibility and Saudi Arabia’s efforts towards environmental sustainability, ecological systems, and green upbringing of the child.
