The Social Responsibility Observatory, represented by the Family and Childhood Center, organized a workshop titled: “The Child and the Values of Citizenship”. The workshop was presented by Dr. Amani Al-Husseini (Assistant Professor of Educational Foundations at Majmaah University), and moderated by Ms. Doaa Al-Hazmi (Supervisor of the Family and Childhood Center).
The workshop addressed several key topics including: the concept of citizenship and its importance, the fundamental values it entails, the essential role of the family in instilling citizenship values in children, and how educational environments can support citizenship education. The workshop concluded with a discussion on the impact of instilling these values on the future of the child and society, and showcasing practical models that help promote citizenship values.
This workshop is part of a series of initiatives by the Social Responsibility Observatory aimed at fostering positive values that contribute to building a sustainable and well-balanced society.
