In an effort to increase academic awareness among Majmaah University students at the Department of Accounting at the College of Business Administration, the Academic Counseling Unit at the Department held on Tuesday, 14.1.1437 Ah a workshop to the College students. on the importance of academic counseling in the development of the educational process. The workshop focused on several aspects, including attendance of lectures and tests in addition to the medical excuses accepted. Furthermore, the students were advised to maintain communication with their academic counselors in order to be able take appropriate decisions in time. The head of the Academic Counseling Unit at the Department said, “The Counselors are making significant efforts using their academic and practical expertise to benefit the students through following up their academic achievements and assisting them in overcoming obstacles that face them in college.” “Therefore, the counselors’ mission is to develop students’ academic performance throughout their study at the University and help them meet the requirements of university life,” he concluded.
