INTRODUCTORY LECTURE PRESENTED BY MU INTERNATIONAL CENTER FOR REHABILITATION, PROSTHETIC AND ORTHOTIC ON OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE

An introductory lecture on osteopathic medicine was presented by Majmaah University International Center for Rehabilitation, Prosthetic and Orthotic at the training hall of the hospital. The lecture was presented by Dr. Mahmoud Nasser who is a senior specialist in physiotherapy and rehabilitation and obtained several certificates in the field of osteopathy.
Osteopathic medicine treats and prevents multiple health problems and used to treat conditions such as arthritis, back problems, foot pain, and digestive problems.
Dr. Mazen Al-Ghatani, Dean of the College of Applied Medical Science and the Supervisor of the Center, said that holding such programs, in collaboration with King Khalid Hospital, is indicative of the university’s concern to boost the quality of health service provided to public.
Dr. Al-Ghatani extended his thanks to MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren and to the Vice-Rector and Chairman of the Center, for their unlimited support and follow-up to achieve the university and the center goals.
