Greetings,

The Scientific Council has a great importance in the University; since its duties are various and vital and contributing directly in achieving the university's mission and objectives.

Objectives :

* Protecting the staff members' rights relating to the works of the Scientific Council.

* Establishing and developing the policies and regulations relating to the works of the Scientific Council.

* Establishing data bases relating to the works of the Scientific Council.

Values :

A brief of the Scientific Board:

The board convenes at least once a month upon the request of the chairman. The chairman may request a meeting if there is a need, if two-thirds of the members apply to him in writing, or if the president requests the inclusion of a certain issue in the schedule of the board. If the president attends a meeting, he is the chairman. The meetings of the board are held with the quorum of two-thirds of the members
