College of Education Zulfi was founded in the month of February of the year 1413 under the Girls Intermediate College named Zulfi In 1421 issued by His Excellency General President of girls' education decision to develop (medium) College and convert its name to (College of Education) to grant bachelor's degrees in the second month of June of the year 1428 College joined the Princess Noura University, and in 1430 joined the King Saud University in the history of three of Ramadan in 1430, August 24, 2009 e issued Royal Decree No. (5037- m b) by acceding to the Consolidated University under the name of (the College of Education Zulfi) in nine sections one of which was the Department of Islamic Studies 1413 for female students, and was awarded a diploma of Islamic Studies for two academic years, and when applying the bachelor programs in 1421 became the study for four years after the student get a bachelor's degree.
The Islamic Studies of the largest departments in the college department, the number of students reached the department in 1434 his five hundred students (500), and in the current year 1435/1436 AH-three and forty-five hundred students (543).
The admission of students in this section have been in 1432 their number exceeded two hundred and fifty students (250). In 1433 AH student population exceeding five hundred (500), exceeding the number in the year 1434 AH seven hundred students (700), and in the current year 1435/1436 AH and twenty-three thousand students (1023).
