Message from the Head of the Department of Architecture and Interior Design

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Architecture and Interior Design. This department brings together creative design, technical excellence, and a strong sense of social responsibility.

Our department plays a central role in qualifying students in architecture and interior design. Through accredited academic programmes and carefully structured study plans, we combine rigorous theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical experience. We are committed to nurturing innovation, critical thinking, and professional practice, ensuring that our graduates are ready to meet the evolving demands of the discipline and the needs of the market.

Guided by the vision of the department and the mission of the College and the University, we continually respond to rapid developments in architecture and interior design. We place particular emphasis on sustainability, architectural identity, emerging technologies, and digital transformation. This is reflected in the ongoing development of our courses, employing modern teaching and assessment methods, the promotion of research activity, and active participation in conferences and professional forums. We also seek to build meaningful partnerships with professional bodies and related sectors, offering expertise and solutions that serve the community and support national development plans in alignment with the Kingdom’s ambitious future vision.
