Department of Operating Systems

This department is responsible for the infrastructure of electronic services and provides an integrated system of various electronic services to serve all university employees. The department manages servers, central storage units and university systems.

Major tasks of the Department of Operating Systems:

1. Supervise all university servers and central storage units including cloud services (DIM).

2. Manage backup systems for physical and virtual systems.

3. Domain Controller and all work related to it.

4. Manage Group Policy Object.

5. Develop systems to improve the performance of the university’s systems infrastructure.
