Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education Receives the Vice-President for Educational and Academic Affairs

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the premises of the academic city and at the headquarters of the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education, the deanship employees received His Excellency the Vice President for Academic and Educational Affairs Prof./Dr. Mohammed bin Othman Rokben. Dr. Rokben was greeted by HE the Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education HE Dr. Omar Bin Msaed Alshariofi who delivered the opening speech of the meeting in which he expressed his happiness as well as that of the deanship employees to meet with the Vice President. He also congratulated him on his recent promotion to the professorship rank. Dr. Rokben in his turn talked about the most important qualitative programs offered by the Deanship in accordance with the requirements of the labor market and the community the needs of such programs.

Moreover, HE the Vice Dean Dr. Adel Ben Ayedh Amoghdhawi gave an enlightening presentation about the Deanship, its programs and aspirations, and its future development plans. As for HE the Vice Rector, he gave a brief speech in which he thanked the deanship employees for their efforts to make the Deanship programs succeed, which is reflected on the university’s reputation to achieve its objectives to serve society.
After meeting with the employees His Excellency the Vice President met with the Deanship leaders headed by HE the Dean, HE Vice-Dean, and department heads. They discussed the future development plans within the deanship and how to overcome obstacles that may hinder programs implementation. He also stressed the importance of coordination among deans and academic departments when implementing programs so as to achieve integration and quality.
At the end of the meeting, attendees expressed their thanks and appreciation of HE the Rector Dr. Khalid bin Saad al-Muqrin for his unwavering support for the programs and activities of the deanship in the interest of the university and the community.
