The Student Advisory Council in the Zulfi College of Education holds its first meeting: The Student Advisory Council in the Zulfi College of Education held its first meeting on Monday, 05/09/1435 AH in the college Dean’s office. The meeting was headed by the College Dean, the Council head, and in the presence of the council Secretary his Excellency the college deputy of the Student Affairs deanship and the eight members of the Council elected by the students. At the beginning of the meeting, the council chairman welcomed the attendees then introduced the Advisory council and its objectives then, they discussed the following topics: - The role of academic advising in the College. - The summer semester - Laboratories and classrooms.

The most prominent recommendations suggested by the council are: 1 – to activate the Academic Advising and abandon the automatic allocation of students on academic counselors to be replaced with manual allocation which permits the student to choose his or her academic counselor. 2 – To try to start on the summer semester in the current academic year. 3 – To look for increasing the college classrooms to accommodate the growing number of students and matching each different section with its corresponding room that fits the number of students of each section
