Alumni Forum at the Department of Home Economics (Creativity)
Vision: a meeting of generations of the alumni of the department and presentation of the skills and experience needed by the labor market in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Objectives: • Presentation of the experience of the alumni of the Department of Home Economics on the portal of the University from 1428 to 1438. • Exchanging expertise, acquiring skills and presenting the pros and cons of Personal work. • Introducing the idea of the forum in the Faculty of Education in Zulfi to encourage other forums in different disciplines (scientific and literary). Follow-up and implementation: Ms. Noura Al-Muhtarish has communicated and followed up with several alumni of the department and established a special group of the forum on 06/03/2017. Then a date was set for the first meeting on Tuesday 15/6/1438 at 11 am, where the alumni experience was presented, and then the corners and forum logo were determined. There was a collection of materials such as biographies and personal work of each alumnus to be shown later for the presentation of creativity. The documentary was directed by Ghada Aouf. The corners were under the supervision of the faculty members and staff, and Dr. Manal Joudeh was the general supervisor of the Forum. The Department also presented a shield of appreciation to the Dean of the College Dr. / Rashid Al-Thunayyan on behalf of the supervisor of the department and alumni participating in the forum: 1- Aida Al-Mutairi (Personal project "Buffets") 2- Munira Al-Thunayan.
