ARABIC LANGUAGE DEPARTMENT HOLDS A SEMINAR TITLED (AL-MUTANABBI AL-SAGHIR ABU AL-FADL AL-WALID)
The Arabic Department at Zulfi College of Education held a seminar to discuss a research topic titled (Al-Mutanabbi Al-Saghir Abu Al-Fadl Al-Walid) by Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Ahmed Al-Shqer, an assistant professor at the department. The meeting took place on Wednesday 15/3/1438 AH at 11.30 am, and was held in the Department Head Office. At first, Dr. Al-Shqer provided a brief summary of his research, including the main idea, the goal and the proposed plan on how to address the subject. Then, he discussed a number of examples on the subject with the present faculty members from the department. In addition to this, the seminar included the following topics: 1. A brief summary of the poet’s life. 2. Origin of his poetry. 3. Topics of his poetry. 4. The artistic properties of his poetry.
