A DEBATE IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE DEPARTMENT

A Debate in the English Language Department Under the auspices of the Student Activities Unit at the College of Education in Zulfi, the English Language Department held on Sunday, 07/07/1436 AH a debate in English language between two groups of students about the pros and cons of social networking. His Excellency the Head of the English Language Department inaugurated the meeting with a speech about the importance of such activities, confirming that they are the priorities of the Department, and that they have a vital role in the student's self-enhancement. Furthermore, he pointed out that the Department will continue holding such debates in the future. Moreover, His Excellency the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al Qashami, praised such activities for their role in motivating the students and developing their personalities; he also commended and expressed his thanks to the English Language Department and the Student Activities Unit for the excellent preparation and organization of the activity. The meeting was concluded with the Referees' Committee announcing the winner of the debate, the student Abdullah Al Othman who the won the Best Speaker Award in the debate.
