English Department Holds Scientific Research Week
The English Department at Zilfi College of Education (annex building) organized the a scientific research and community service committee week from Sunday 5/5 to Thursday 9/5/1437 AH in the rooms 29,30,33,34,17. The event aimed to revive scientific research among faculty members to share experiences and prepare for the scientific research week at university level. The program was the result of the effort made by the coordinators of scientific research and community service in the department Dr. Faiza AL Hussein and Dr. Butheina AL Shahid. The participating faculty executed the program as the set schedules under the banner "The Educational and Social Role of English Language Research". The majority of faculty in the department gave presentations that dealt with topics divided between languages in general, teaching English in addition to research in English literature. The program included the following contributions: - Sociological Introduction to the teaching of translation to English Language Students. Dr. Iman Abdulrahim. - Discussion and Dialogue in English Aimed to Develop Critical Thinking Skills in the Light of Realistic Assessment. Dr. Wiem Mohamed.
